fastFrame - Automating the Production of Canvas Pictures

(PresseBox) ( Regensdorf, )
The fastFrame is a new development from Imaging Solutions. It responds to the fact that more and more customers order fun photo articles, including photos that are printed on canvas and then mounted to a frame.

With this machine, it is possible to automatically mount the canvas print to a stretcher frame, resulting in considerably increased productivity of employees. If the manual stretching took up to five minutes before, now the whole procedure can be accomplished within less than 30 seconds. Thus, an hourly capacity of 60 framings is possible. In addition, the mechanical stretching by the machine is done in a notably consistent and precise way.

Picture frames measuring from 20 x 30 cm up to 60 x 80 cm can be processed, meaning the fastFrame covers 97 % of the used picture formats.

The fastFrame is primarily of interest to photo labs and digital print shops frequently selling the product "canvas print on stretcher frame" that want to save on personnel cost and at the same time increase their productivity.

wideCut - Cutting Capacity of up to 6,000 Cuts per Hour

Customers are currently ordering more and more oversized prints from photo labs - like in the form of a poster or photo calendar. The widePrint 12 is setting a new benchmark in the 30 cm exposure, and the new wideCut machine lends itself to the optimization of the subsequent postprocessing. It offers a cutting capacity of more than 6,000 cuts per hour. Since it is always about speed in a photo store, the wideCut ensures a noticeable optimization of the production of oversized prints and posters with a breadth of 5 to 12 inches and a variable length. There is an optional stack magazine for the cut images available for the wideCut, and also an integrated calendar punch, which perforates the cut images right away for the subsequent calendar processing.
