IKS Photovoltaik presents innovation at Intersolar 2013(PresseBox) (Kassel / Munich, )
Background: this energy school is a new teaching aid from IKS Photovoltaik, which is set to make primary school students enthusiastic, both about the use of renewable energies and about future jobs in the field. At the same time, the energy building will also be available in a second model, that of a company. This is then aimed primarily at companies who wish to clearly demonstrate the benefits of renewable energies to their end customers at trade shows, events and other occasions.
In concrete terms, the Kassel teaching aids professionals - who are global pioneers in RE teaching materials for education and training - have combined the topics of photovoltaics, solar thermal and wind energy in a single system with the new product. In this way, it is easy to show how the sun and wind can be used to produce electricity for lighting, fans, etc. And not only that: the small energy building also has an energy storage device, so that the consumers are able to operate even in times when the sun and wind are not providing sufficient energy. Furthermore, a street lamp in the outside area demonstrates a simple off-grid solution and the thermal system on top of the building provides a supply of hot water. Visitors to Intersolar 2013 will be able to get a full overview of all that the energy building from IKS Photovoltaik has to offer, as the innovation will be presented for the first time at the stall of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), with the name 'Innovation made in Germany'.
Competition to find a name
Incidentally: as part of Intersolar 2013, IKS Photovoltaik is now on the search for a name for the new energy building. All trade fair visitors have the opportunity to submit their product name suggestions at stall B2.170B. The ten most attractive name ideas out of all the submitted entries will be put into a lottery wheel, ultimately putting the decision about the new name in the hands of fate. In addition, those who are unable to visit the trade fair will have the opportunity to take part in the name competition via e-mail. Simply submit your name suggestion along with your complete contact details (forename and surname, street, postcode, city, country, telephone number and e-mail address) under the subject heading 'energy building' to email@example.com. The deadline for submitting name suggestions is the 31st July 2013. Unfortunately, suggestions submitted after this date cannot be considered.
The winner of the competition to find the name will receive the first renewable energy building when the first product series is introduced on the market, in the fourth quarter of 2013. What is more, a raffle will be held amongst competition participants, with numerous shopping vouchers from IKS Photovoltaik being handed out as prizes. Participation is therefore guaranteed to be worthwhile!
