Betriebsbedingte Kündigungen sind bei NEOMAN / MAN in Salzgitter bis Ende September 2012 ausgeschlossen. Das sieht die am heutigen Mittwoch von IG Metall und NEOMAN / MAN in Salzgitter unterzeichnete Vereinbarung zur Standort-und Beschäftigungssicherung vor. Auf der Grundlage des im September letzten Jahres vereinbarten Eckpunktepapiers konnten die Gespräche damit endgültig abgeschlossen werden.

Die Vereinbarung besagt, dass als Kompensation für die Verlagerung der Busproduktion und Buszentralfunktionen die Kapazitäten im LKW-Bereich von MAN und die Chassisproduktion gesteigert werden. Zusätzlich wird ein Logistikzentrum geschaffen. Dafür müssen die Beschäftigten einen geringfügigen Beitrag erbringen.
