IFEN Starts Shipping of NavX-NCS – Its Multi-Constellation and Multi-Frequency GNSS RF Navigation Simulator

Poing, Germany, (PresseBox) - IFEN GmbH recently starts shipping of its multi-constellation and multi-frequency GNSS RF navigation constellation simulator NavX-NCS to first customers.

NavX-NCS is the first product in a new generation of GNSS products from IFEN GmbH. IFEN’s NavX-NCS is a multiconstellation and multi-frequency RF constellation simulator supporting currently all present and future Galileo and GPS frequencies (E1/L1, L2c, E5ab/L5, and E6) in one box.

Whether for mass market application, using combined GPS/Galileo signals on E1/L1, or safety of life signals on E1/L1 and E5b/L5 up to high-precision applications with four frequencies simultaneously for RTK surveying, NavX-NCS masters them all. With the forthcoming GLONASS capabilities, NavX-NCS is the first complete GNSS laboratory test equipment which covers Galileo, GPS and GLONASS in a single device.

The European satellite navigation system Galileo will provide a wide range of user positioning services with well-defined guaranties of quality and continuity. Galileo will be compatible with the U.S. Global Positioning System (GPS) and is expected to be fully operational in 2013.

The business portfolio of IFEN GmbH, a leading European company in the area of GNSS applications and equipment, covers a wide range of activities, from system studies over algorithmic research to software and hardware development up to complete turnkey systems and services. The ultimate focus of IFEN GmbH is to transfer its excellent navigation know-how into best solutions for our customers.
