Einen einfachen Anschluss von Sensoren und Aktoren an die Cloud ermöglichen die IIoT Gateways MQ-7200M von ICPDAS. Über die integrierten I/Os werden digitale Signale vom Gateway direkt in die Cloud übertragen. Hierbei setzt ICPDAS im Industrial Internet of Things auf das wichtigste Kommunikationsprotokoll MQTT, ebenso wie die gängigen Cloud-Anbieter Microsoft Azure und IBM Bluemix. Das Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT) Protokoll gewährleistet neben seiner zuverlässigen Nachrichtenübertragung, eine einfache Client-Implementierung sowie einen sparsamen Umgang mit Bandbreite. Einen zuverlässigen Betrieb im industriellen Umfeld bietet das industrielle Design der MQ-7200M Gateways.
