Das neue EtherCAT Gateway ECAT-2610 von ICPDAS verbindet eine Vielzahl serieller Endgeräte mit einem modernen Ethernet basierten Feldbussystem. Für die Integration bestehender RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 Modbus-Geräte sind keine Änderungen an Hard- und Software erforderlich. Das erlaubt eine schnelle und einfache Anbindung an jedes EtherCAT Netzwerk. Über zwei Ethernet Ports ist eine Daisy Chain Verkabelung in Reihe möglich, das spart Aufwand und Kosten bei der Installation. Das neue Gateway ist eine Erweiterung der ECAT-2000 Serie von ICPDAS, die mit ihrer kompakten Bauform von nur 33 mm Breite auch minimalen Raumanforderungen gerecht werden.
