Fertigungsbetriebe sowie Maschinen- und Anlagenbauer sehen sich mehr und mehr mit Themen wie Energieeffizienz oder Energiekosten konfrontiert. Jedoch fokussieren Energiemesstechnik und Automatisierungstechnik unterschiedliche Technologien und Anwendungsbereiche. Diese Lücke schließt ICPDAS-EUROPE mit dem neuen EtherCAT Gateway ECAT-2610-DW. Das Gateway integriert Geräte der Energiemesstechnik einfach und kostengünstig in ein Ethercat Netzwerk. Über eine Konfigurationsdatei erfolgt die Anbindung der Energiemessgeräte an die EtherCAT Steuerungsebene. Über zwei Ethernet Ports ist eine Daisy Chain Verkabelung in Reihe möglich. Das spart Aufwand und Kosten bei der Installation.
