WLAN ohne abgesetzte Antenne in einem eingebauten Panel PC - Wie ist das möglich? Bei dem WIDS-517A Panel PC der ICP Deutschland GmbH befindet sich die WLAN Antenne hinter einer speziellen Kunststoffabdeckung an der nach IP65 geschützten Aluminiumfront des 17" Touch Panel PCs. Das 802.11 a/b/g/n WLAN Modul kann somit ohne externe Antenne eine High-Speed Verbindung aufbauen. An der Front befinden sich zusätzlich noch zwei USB Ports, die durch eine wasserdichte Abdeckung geschützt sind. Im Inneren des Panel PC verrichtet ein Intel® Core(TM) 2 Duo Prozessor und max. 2GB Arbeitsspeicher ihre Arbeit.
