HY-LINE Communication präsentiert mit dem WGM160P ein sicheres, vollständig zertifiziertes Wi-Fi-Modul mit geringem Stromverbrauch, das speziell für IoT-Anwendungen entwickelt wurde. Das Modul enthält einen 2,4-GHz-802.11- b/g/n-WLAN Funkchip und eine 72-MHz-Cortex-M4 MCU, mit der Anwender den gesamten WLAN-Stack, den TCP/IP-Stack und Ihre Anwendungen ausführen können. Modernste Peripherie, wie ein Ethernet-MAC und ein Captouch, ermöglichen zusätzliche Funktionalitäten ihrem Produkt hinzuzufügen ohne großen Hardwareaufwand.

Das Gerät unterstützt Gecko OS, ein IoT-Betriebssystem der nächsten Generation, das die Komplexität der drahtlosen Konnektivität abfängt und die Entwicklungszeit verkürzt. Verfügbar ist das WGM160P Wi-Fi® Modul mit und ohne integrierte Antenne.
