HY-LINE Computer Components stellt die neue SATA-SSD im 2.5“-Formfaktor mit Zertifizierung nach MIL-810G des taiwanesischen Herstellers von Flash-Modulen für industriellen Einsatz, Cervoz, vor.

Der interne Aufbau basiert auf Flash-Speichern von Toshiba, die für den erweiterten Temperaturbereich spezifiziert sind. Für den Einsatz in kritischen Applikationen verfügt die SSD neben der SATA-Schnittstelle über einen weiteren Stecker, über den ein Schreibschutz verhängt, die Disk komplett gelöscht („quick erase“) oder sogar physikalisch zerstört werden kann, um eine anschließende forensische Analyse vertraulicher Daten sicher zu verhindern. Die dafür nötige Energie wird innerhalb des Gehäuses gespeichert, so dass auch ein Entfernen der SATA-Stromversorgung dies nicht verhindert.
