Konzentrationsbestimmung mit dem Glycomat G13

Aus ökologischen Gründen ersetzt die Volkswagen AG seit 2011 rund 20 Prozent des aus Mono-Ethylenglycols (Gewinnung aus Erdöl) bestehenden Kühlmittels G13 durch Glycerin (Gewinnung aus biologischen Abfallprodukten). Bislang gab es für die Werkstatt zu einer Frostschutz-Konzentrationsbestimmung von G13 nur einen Refraktometer. Teilespezialist Herth+Buss führt nun einen Frostschutzprüfer, der genau die Konzentration dieses lilafarbenen Kühlmittels G13 (der Nachfolger von G12++) messen kann. Der Messbereich liegt im Temperaturspektrum zwischen 0 °C und -40 °C. Der Frostschutzprüfer ist eine technisch bewährte Konstruktion, die der Werkstatt eine einfache, vor allem aber schnelle und präzise Messung ermöglicht.
