The integration with the Real Time Workshop allows access to measurement devices such as inertial sensors, gyros and IMUs as well as a host of machine control I/O devices, hardware components, and sub-systems from a wide range of manufacturers. Elmo Motion’s Platinum series covers four intelligent drive designs with single-axis as well as 4-axis servo capability. Through the range, typical continuous power levels to 2 kW and qualitative power levels to 5.0 kW are available (up to 22 kW coming soon). All Platinum series drives feature industry leading processing capability channelled through EtherCAT with cycling down to 100 microseconds.
