Mobilität ist ein wichtiger Aspekt in unserem Leben. Wir fahren zur Schule, zum Arbeitsplatz oder zum Einkaufen. Dabei werden neben den klassischen Fahrzeugen mit Verbrennungsmotor mehr und mehr Fahrzeuge mit Hybrid- und Elektroantrieb und Li-Ionenzellen zum Einsatz kommen.

Während wir den Umgang mit Benzin inzwischen weitgehend verstanden haben - wer raucht noch beim Betanken seines PKW? - sind uns die thermischen Eigenschaften von Lithium-Zellen dagegen eher fremd.

Das Seminar "Battery Safety" zeigt nun anhand von eindrucksvollen Filmsequenzen, was während einer thermischen Überlastung von Li-Ionenzellen passieren kann und vermittelt die notwendigen Basiskenntnisse, die wichtig bei Umgang, Lagerung und Verwendung von Li-Zellen nixp.
