Haulotte supplies 600th machine for Want Access
Want Access reaches significant milestone with purchase of new Haulotte boom / Total cost of ownership pivotal to ongoing success and expansion into larger equipment
The Haulotte HT23RTJ telescopic boom is the 600th machine in Want Access' fleet which encompasses electric scissor lifts and man lifts and now bigger boom lifts up to 23m (67ft) as well as telescopic handlers. According to Peter Gilmore, Want Access' Managing Director, Haulotte equipment is innovative and the leading edge technology for access equipment.
“Haulotte is great to deal with, being very customer focused; the excellent service and support and quality equipment means Haulotte machines offer great total cost of ownership.”
Want Access has experienced rapid growth since its inception in March 2014. And the intention is to continue to grow with plans in place to expand into other states in the future, Mr Gilmore said.
“The success of the business and its rapid growth over the past three years is largely due to the way we have always, and will continue to run lean, to reduce costs. This is my mantra when running any business and this method has allowed Want Access’ return on investment from machines to be used to purchase more equipment and ensure profits.
“Equipment like that we get from Haulotte is key to keeping operating costs down; the productivity of the equipment and the reliable on-board diagnostic, ACTIV’Screen, means less downtime. “You can be sure we will continue to include Haulotte equipment in our product line-up,” Mr Gilmore said.
or Haulotte the focus on productivity and reduced downtime is something the company is seeing emerge as a higher requirement in the industry.
Paul Sultana, Haulotte Area Manager, NSW/ACT said: “Customers are looking for the best equipment that has the best total cost of ownership. That’s why we have significantly grown our service capabilities over the past few years to help our customers get the most out of their machines.
“Haulotte is committed to the access equipment after-market with 24/7 emergency back-up, scheduled maintenance programs and readily available genuine replacement parts,” Mr Sultana said.
For Want Access, the new telescopic boom also provides the fastest lifting speed of just 56sec and the best turning radius in its class.
The HT23 RTJ PRO offers a rigid boom with fully proportional and simultaneous movements, single control for both steering axles and also features Haulotte’s Activ’Shield™ Bar for added safety. It offers optimal productivity, optimised maintenance time through easy access to all components as well as easy boom maintenance. The HT23 RTJ PRO also has an exclusive modular basket, which is easy and quick to repair and ACTIV’Screen on board coloured monitor screen and diagnostic system.
