Am 26. April 2007 findet erneut ein Girls' Day für Mädchen der Klassen 5 bis 10 statt. Gesucht werden Handwerksunternehmen, die den Mädchen an diesem Tag Gelegenheit geben, sich ein Bild vom Berufsalltag im Handwerk zu machen. Aufgrund der demographischen Entwicklung fehlt den Betrieben gerade im technischen Bereich der qualifizierte Nachwuchs. Um zukünftig ein ausreichendes Angebot an qualifiziertem Fachpersonal sicherzustellen, wird es immer wichtiger, Mädchen für technische Ausbildungsberufe im Handwerk zu gewinnen. Hier setzt Girls' Day an.
