Smarter and Swifter Ways to Manage IT Operations - Copenhagen and Stockholm
SOSY and Halcyon will jointly host the seminars at IBM Lyngby near Copenhagen, 29th January and IBM Kista in Stockholm, 3rd February.
SOSY will also be attending and presenting a session with Halcyon at the IBM Common users conference in Middelfart, Denmark 5th February.
The new partnership and the launch events will enable Halcyon's monitoring technology to extend its reach to SOSY's direct customers and channel partner network throughout Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.
Halcyon Software's systems monitoring, scheduling and automation software enables IT teams to proactively manage critical applications and processes to reduce the impact of service outages and errors on day-to-day operations to eliminate business disruption and save substantial costs.
According to Helle Mering, MD of SOSY, "These launch events in Denmark and Sweden will not only show Halcyon's commitment to the Nordic region, but also demonstrate what they have already been able to achieve for other IBM customers in the Scandinavian territory. The workshops will show how IT teams can resolve problems before they impact the business by using modernised, web-enabled monitoring solutions and remote management techniques with mobile 'apps' for IBM i, Windows, AIX and Linux platforms. Halcyon also has an excellent reputation for technical support in the region and for competitive pricing policies."
Sean Gallagher, International Sales Director for Halcyon Software, added: "Over the last few years we have built established and trusted relationships with large and well known managed service providers in Sweden and Norway who use our software to manage their customers' critical IT systems. The SOSY partnership strengthens our presence in the Nordic region and the workshops will spread the word and provide significant growth opportunities."
