Graphit Kropfmühl AG: Resignation of the members of the supervisory board representing the shareholders' side

Kropfmühl, (PresseBox) - The four members of the supervisory board of Graphit Kropfmühl AG (ISIN DE0005896005 / WKN 589600) representing the shareholders' side will resign from their positions as members of the supervisory board with effect as of the expiration of the 5 May 2008. This concerns the following persons: Dr. Thomas Guth, at present chairman of the supervisory board, Frank Nörenberg, at present first deputy chairman of the supervisory board, Harald Schröder, at present second deputy chairman of the supervisory board, and Dr. Herbert Knahl.

The management board and the new major shareholder AMG Invest GmbH filed an application regarding the appointment of four members of the supervisory board until the end of the next annual general meeting on 3 July 2008 by the court in accordance with section 104 (2) of the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG) to the Local Court of Munich, commercial register. The management board recommended the commercial register to appoint Mr. Rainer Grohe, Mr. Klaus Josef Lutz, Dr. Heinz Schimmelbusch and Dr. Michael Witzel.
