In the run-up to the Detroit Auto Show, the respected Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has selected the vehicles it will recognize for the best automotive safety standards.

Among the winners are numerous models equipped with innovative headrest systems from Grammer.

The "Top Safety Pick" is awarded by the IIHS each year to the vehicles with the best test results in their class for active and passive safety.

In addition to performance in frontal, back-end, side and rollover crashes, the institute also takes into account the vehicles' standard safety equipment, such as ESP, airbags or headrest systems.

Among the 60 total winning models across seven different classes, nearly one-third were equipped with active or passive headrest systems from Grammer. A clear demonstration of the contribution that Grammer products make to safety and comfort in every vehicle class.
