Gebäudeintegration: Effizientestes flexibles Solarmodul auf BAU 2011

Das bislang effizienteste flexible Solarmodul für die Gebäudeintegration präsentiert der Dünnschichthersteller Global Solar Energy auf der BAU 2011. Das 300 Watt-Modul basiert auf Kupfer-Indium-Gallium-diSelenid (CIGS)-Technologie und produziert rund doppelt so viel Strom wie flexible Silizium-Solarzellen. Mit einem Wirkungsgrad von 12,6 Prozent weist es die höchste Effizienz unter den bisher am Markt existierenden flexiblen Solarmodulen auf. Durch sein niedriges Gewicht von 2,5 Kilogramm pro Quadratmeter Fläche kann "PowerFLEX BIPV" auch auf Dächern mit geringer Tragfähigkeit installiert werden.
