URW Form Launches Today and Brings a Fresh Look to the Modern Sans Serif Typeface
URW Form, the quintessence of modern sans, will help visitors find their way at Clerkenwell Design Week
(PresseBox) (Cambridge, )Created by head designer Volker Schnebel at URW’s Hamburg studio, URW Form was originally inspired by the timeless classic Futura, but influenced by the visuals of modern geometric typefaces. Yet it still incorporates the fundamental rules of design and looks and functions like a contemporary sans.
In addition to its strong identity, URW Form has many quality characteristics and unlimited possibilities for use. It is available in four widths including regular, extended, condensed and a much sought-after semi-condensed extension, which broadens its creative spectrum. There are ten weights ranging from the filigree Thin, to the Demi Bold, to the forceful Poster.

New to the UK, the URW++ type foundry brings a fresh approach to type. From its Hamburg studio, it leads the way in font design and technology, working globally with agencies, publishers and brands.
