PCIe Gen 3 with 7.85 Gbaud highly increases the per-lane throughput of PCIe Gen2 with up to 5 Gbaud and PCIe Gen1 with 2,5 Gbaud. This allows a total throughput of 31,4 Gb/s with 4 lanes. The N.A.T. PCIe Gen3 hub module is a single chip solution without any bottle neck between multiple switches on the hub module supporting 12 AMCs.
