Konjunkturzahlen für August 2019: Metall- und Elektro-Industrie bleibt im Abschwung

Keine Stabilisierung in Sicht

Die Metall- und Elektro-Industrie (M+E-Industrie) bleibt weiter im Abschwung. Eine wirkliche Stabilisierung der Entwicklung ist noch nicht in Sicht. An diesem Trend ändert auch die zwischenzeitige Verbesserung von Produktion und Auftragseingang im August 2019 im Vergleich zum Vormonat nichts (Produktion plus 0,8 Prozent, Auftragseingänge plus 2,4 Prozent). Denn im Vergleich zum Vorjahr liegen Produktion und Aufträge deutlich im Minus: Von Januar bis August 2019 ging die M+E-Produktion um 4,8 Prozent gegenüber dem gleichen Vorjahreszeitraum zurück. Dabei stach besonders die Automobilproduktion mit minus 11 Prozent heraus. Dies geht aus den aktuellen Zahlen des Statistischen Bundesamtes hervor.
