Melissa Maria Valladares Schlesinger aus Guatemala studiert zur Zeit an der Universität Göttingen und hat den diesjährigen Preis des Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes (DAAD) für hervorragende ausländische Studierende erhalten. Mit der Auszeichnung ehrt der DAAD ihr Engagement für ihren Studiengang sowie ihre besonders guten Studienleistungen. Melissa Maria Valladares Schlesinger studiert an der Fakultät für Agrarwissenschaften in dem Master-Studiengang "Sustainable & International Agriculture" (SIA) mit dem Studienschwerpunkt "International Agribusiness and Rural Developmental Economics" (IARD) im vierten Semester. Mit dem Preis für ausländische Studierende werden besondere akademische Leistungen, aber auch bemerkenswertes soziales, gesellschaftliches oder hochschulinternes Engagement ausländischer Studierender ausgezeichnet.
