GeBE printer for high-speed printing

For various applications - especially in the public sector, such as parking ticket kiosks - a faster data output is required more and more frequently. Most conventional thermal printers in the market can only reach print speeds of about 50-80mm per second - which simply is not fast enough.
Now, GeBE has developed a high-speed printer for 2" and for 3" paper width with a speed of up to 200mm per second, which is up to four times faster than most conventional thermal printers.

Sophisticated technology translates into speed

The controller GCT-6782, developed by GeBE, controls these fast printouts reliably. It has been combined with a robust printer mechanism based on the mechanics of the established industrial printer module family INFO from GeBE to form a new product. The high-speed printer for the kiosk field impresses not only with its speed, but also through its extremely compact format as well as its ease of servicing and versatility.

Cost-saving by High Speed Printouts

Wherever pulling of printouts by impatient users has caused damage to the printer mechanism or the cutter in the past, those high repair costs can now be avoided to a large extent due to the significantly higher speed of the print output.
Service intervals have been increased by giving the mechanism the capability to transport paper rolls of up to 150 mm diameter (app. 210 m paper length). Papers with a thickness of up to 100 µm, for special papers even up to 150 µm, have been approved for use in these printers.

Customized Solutions by GeBE

The bi-directional data transfer per RS232 or USB makes high-speed printing possible. Besides these standard interfaces, however, other interfaces such as Ethernet are also available. The power supply is 24VDC. Just like for all other GeBE products, customized solutions are also offered for this printer.
