GameFounders extended the deadline of applications to December 15
"As usual, the applications started pouring in during the last days and so we decided to extend the deadline" said Kadri Ugand, co-founder of GameFounders. "We will start evaluation of the applications already submitted and the rest of the schedule will run on time". Results will be announced at the end of January and the program will start at the beginning of March.
GameFounders provides the teams with seed capital up to €15,000 for a moderate equity share. The teams will undergo an intensive program of mentoring and training built upon the experience of the 80+ mentors involved, including heavyweights from Zynga, Facebook, 6waves, Grand Cru, Creative Mobile and more. The teams can also enjoy numerous game related partnership deals from Unity, Softlayer, W3i, Google etc for free or discounted software, server space and other services. The first round of applications was open in summer 2012 and resulted in 122 applications from 42 different countries, all continents were represented.

GameFounders, created in early 2012, is the first startup accelerator in Europe that is purely focused on gaming and gamified apps.
