G-POWER celebrates 30 Years of "first class performance" and presents a revolutionary Mono-Kompressor system for the BMW M5/M6 V10 engine in a limited edition of 30 systems - 580 hp for just 7.300 € excl. VAT

(PresseBox) (Aresing/ Ot. Autenzell, )
The initial spark for the design of the new G-POWER Mono-Kompressor system for the BMW M5/M6 V10 engine has been the presentation of a new supercharger by ASA. With an air mass flow of up to 2.400 kg/h the T1-724 called centrifugal supercharger is the most powerful supercharger in the ASA product range and thus capable of replacing the two ASA T1-313 superchargers used for the SK I and SK II versions of the G-POWER Bi-Kompressor system. Based on this new technological development G-POWER designed the revolutionary G-POWER Mono-Kompressor system for the legendary BMW M5/M6 V10 engine.
- M5/ M6 V10 SK Plus system "GP Edition 30 years" 580 hp/560 Nm starting from 7.300 € excl. VAT

- M5/ M6 V10 SK I system "GP Edition 30 years" 620 hp/600 Nm starting from 9.500 € excl. VAT

- M5/ M6 V10 SK II system "GP Edition 30 years" 700 hp/670 Nm starting from 14.500 € excl. VAT

- limited edition of only 30 systems to celebrate 30 years of "first class performance"

- superior power output enhancement from the leader in aftermarket BMW supercharger systems

- high quality meeting OEM standards due to years of experience and CAD engineering

- worldwide unique professional serially produced M5/M6 V10 supercharger system using state-of-the-art production processes

- large production numbers decrease production cost while keeping a high quality level

- significantly larger power output enhancement than with any other classic tuning alternative combined with a competitive low price

- sports-engine characteristics with excellent response

The advantages of this single supercharger solution are obvious. The reduction in parts - just one supercharger and a belt drive with just half the size of the Bi-Kompressor version - decrease the production costs and the installation effort at the same time.

At the same time G-POWER has transferred to the new M5/M6 V10 Mono-Kompressor-System the successful concept of the G-POWER SK Plus supercharger system, introduced for the BMW 3 series and Z4 about 10 years ago.

The basic idea behind the G-POWER SK Plus concept is the "soft charging" of the standard engine with boost levels as low as 0,3 bar rel. (about 4.4 psi). The advantage: with this relatively low boost level the intake air won't heat up too much. Thus a complex intercooling system is superfluous and still an impressive power output enhancement of 77 hp for the BMW V10 engine, adding up to 580 hp in max output, can be achieved. No intercooling system, only one supercharger and a leaner belt drive compared to the one of the Bi-Kompressor-System - this reduces the needed parts of the G-POWER SK Plus supercharger system significantly, and with it the production cost which leads to the extremely low starting price of just 7.300 € excl. VAT. A 600 hp version is available for a small surcharge of 650 € excl. VAT. With the M5/M6 V10 supercharger system "GP Edition 30 Years" G-POWER, being the only one in the world, has launched a product for the BMW S85 V10 engine that provides for a power output enhancement that is significantly larger than with any other traditional tuning method like for example chip-tuning, racing headers, stoker engine and co; and all this for an extremely low price.

Of course with a boost level of 0,3 bar rel. (approx. 4,4 psi) the potential of the utilized ASA supercharger is by no means used to the full extend. Thus G-POWER is offering the Mono-Kompressor system with a higher boost level and in combination with an intercooling system, as well. The G-POWER M5/M6 V10 SK I Mono-Kompressor-System cools down the 0,5 bar rel. (approx. 7,2 psi) boost coming from the supercharger for maximum power output. A complicated aluminium casting - painted in G-POWER orange - replaces the standard air box on top of the engine, and its direct inlet is responsible for the spontaneous response characteristics which give the G-POWER motor its incomparable response and also much more torque. In the end the G-POWER SK I Mono-Kompressor-System provides for a power output enhancement of 620 hp/600 Nm respectively 640 hp/620 Nm according to the chosen version.

But there is still more to come. The last stage of the G-POWER Mono-Kompressor-System, named SK II, adds a back pressure reduced exhaust system featuring racing catalysts to the package which allows a further increase of the boost level to 0,6 bar rel. (approx. 8,6 psi) and thus marks the climax in power output enhancement provided by the G-POWER M5/M6 Mono-Kompressor-System: 700 hp/670 Nm of torque. But still the SK II stage of the Mono-Kompressor-System does not require the extensive works that are accompanied by a reduction of the compression ratio of the engine, which involves a complete disassembly of the V10 engine.

After the update of the product program for the BMW M5/M6 E6X, G-POWER is now offering a suitable power output enhancement for the legendary high-rev BMW V10 engine for any kind of demand. From the cost-effective Mono-Kompressor-System, with our without intercooling system, to the high-end Bi-Kompressor-System that showcases what is technically feasible - at G-POWER every BMW M5/M6 enthusiast finds the right solution for his needs.

G-POWER

Since the company's founding in 1983, it has focused solely on the tuning of BMW cars and the production of exclusive, handcrafted vehicles. In 2008, G-POWER was integrated into Group ASA, a year in which both brands celebrated their 25th anniversary. G-POWER is now one of the few globally active and highly reputable suppliers of exclusive cars. In cooperation with development partner ASA, G-POWER has developed unique versions of BMW's most important models, and the world's most powerful versions of each, which clearly sets us apart from our competitors.
