FuG and Guth - two high-voltage specialists join forces

Rosenheim, (PresseBox) - The power supply manufacturer FuG in Rosenheim and the company Guth high voltage technology in Salach occur in first time this year with a joint booth at the Electronica in Munich.

Both companies are known for high quality products used in industry and research especially in specialized applications. While FuG Elektronik GmbH supply regulated power supplies of high stability in the low and high voltage range, the Guth GmbHis known for powerful robust high-voltage devices like DC - voltage supplies, measuring and test equipment, up to high voltage and insulation transformers. Since 2008 the two companies joined together under the umbrella of Dr. Simon Consulting. Now the customer will benefit from the related synergies and strengthens.

The applications of the products of both manufacturers are very diverse and include for example special electron microscopes for the semiconductor manufacturing, equipment for material and surface treatment, electron beam welding equipment for the aviation, aerospace and automotive industry, high voltage power supplies for air filters, for crushing of rock or the separation of recycling material up to highly sophisticated particle accelerators and electron lasers for fundamental research.

Dr. Hartmut Simon, managing associate of both companies:

"We want to show the whole world of high voltage technology at one stand. With FuG we cover the high-end range, which is particularly interesting for high-precision applications in research. With Guth we have in particular the goal of demanding industrial applications, mostly in small series.

Both companies complement each other in the portfolio and manufacturing structures, so that we can now fulfill customer requests, which were previously unavailable for the two individual companies."
