Preliminary Report interpack 2011

Markt Einersheim, (PresseBox) - Like fresh from a master baker's hands: FRITSCH exhibit at the interpack highlights the precision robotics of its talented MULTITWIST.

A few years ago baking systems manufacturer FRITSCH introduced a robot that amazed industry specialists with its ability to twist pretzels in mid air.

Here, for the first time ever, was a machine that could replicate exactly this traditional dough-forming procedure -- but at impressive speeds of up to 2,000 pieces per hour. And it was clear even back then that, true to its name, the MULTITWIST was destined to live by making more than pretzels alone. As a logical consequence, the men and women in Markt Einersheim, Germany, have taught their multi-talented robot a number of new tricks, among them the fully-automatic twisting of the single strand braids referred to as flesserl.

When the interpack in Düsseldorf opens its doors on 12 May 2011, FRITSCH will be on hand with its team of experts and a MULTITWIST sporting yet another valuable addition, a fully-integrated turning station allowing for the simultaneous turning of the widest variety of baked goods. As we have come to expect from the Franconian company, trade visitors at the FRITSCH stand will be able to see for themselves in a series of live performances just what exactly the MULTITWIST can do.

On display in addition to pretzels and flesserl will be rings and pretzel braids. The latter have relatively high dough unit weight and are twisted tightly and turned immediately so that the pretzel can take on during the baking phase its round and yet recognisable form. FRITSCH consultants will be available around the clock to answer any and all questions pertaining to the company's catalog of products and services. Look for FRITSCH at the interpack in Düsseldorf from 12 to 18 May, 2011. You will find them in Hall 3, Stand 3D29
