Dr. Werner Jackstädt Foundation increases prize money for Best Paper Award - now largest purse of any economic research award made by Chinese specialist journals

The China Economic Quarterly and China Economic Journal are increasing the prize money for the Dr. Werner Jackstädt Best Paper Award for Chinese Economic and Business Studies. The award is now worth 10,000 euros in total, making it the most highly endowed award in the Chinese economic research community.

The Dr. Werner Jackstädt Foundation increased the monetary value of the prize with the aim of encouraging cutting-edge economic research in China. All papers published in China Economic Quarterly (Chinese) and China Economic Quarterly (English) qualify for the award.
