Interview Fortify Software as they Unveil New Cloud Security Readiness Report & Scorecard

(PresseBox) ( San Mateo, CA, )
Fortify Software(http://www.fortify.com/), the leader in Software Security Assurance, will announce the industry's first cloudreadiness scorecard and a report that offers guidelines on what organizations need to do to ensure that the software applications that run their businesses are cloudready. With Fortify's new scorecard, enterprises and cloud infrastructure providers will now be able to rate an application's readiness for moving it to the cloud, as well as gain the tools that they need to ensure that the software they use in a cloud environment has the degree of security needed to take full advantage of cloud services.

According to a recent ISACA study(http://www.isaca.org/Template.cfm?Section=Press_Releases1&CONTENTID=56677&TEMPLATE=/ContentManagement/ContentDisplay.cfm), 45% of respondents believe the security risks of cloud computing outweigh the benefits. Now Fortify Software are offering a solution, which will enable companies to put their most critical applications and data into the Cloud as they will have scrutinized and checked for any code errors and possible flaws - making their application "cloud ready" *before* introducing them to the new environment?

Fortify's Co-Founder and Chief Scientist, Brian Chess, is available this week to prebrief you on this news and what security issues enterprises need to consider before moving their applications to the cloud. Please let me know if you are free for a quick call and a download on this news. All interviews will be between 4 & 6pm due to Fortify residing in California.
