Europol und FireEye gehen gemeinsam gegen Cyberkriminalität vor

Zusammenarbeit ermöglicht Austausch zur früheren Erkennung von Bedrohungen

FireEye, Spezialist für den Schutz von Unternehmen vor bisher unbekannten Cyberangriffen, und das European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) der europäischen Polizeibehörde Europol haben ein Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) abgeschlossen. Dieses erlaubt den Austausch von Erfahrungen und Expertise im Bereich der Cyberkriminalität, insbesondere bei der Früherkennung von Bedrohungen durch Cyberkriminelle und aktuellen Entwicklungen.

Wil van Gemert, Deputy Director of Operations bei Europol sagt: "Polizeibehörden und Privatwirtschaft müssen zusammenarbeiten, um effektiv gegen Cyberkriminalität, ein weltweit wachsendes Problem, vorzugehen. Das MoU mit FireEye stärkt unsere strategische Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern aus der Wirtschaft, um die Kriminellen hinter diesen Straftaten ins Visier zu nehmen."
