Im ersten Halbjahr 2009 steigerte Fielmann nach erster Einschätzung Absatz und Umsatz. Der Marktführer gab 3,1 Millionen Brillen ab (+ 3,2 Prozent), erzielte einen Außenumsatz von um 547 Millionen Euro (+ 2,8 Prozent) und einen Konzernumsatz von um 464 Millionen Euro (+ 2,8 Prozent). In den ersten sechs Monaten erhöhten wir die Werbeaufwendungen um 7 Millionen €, erwirtschafteten einen Gewinn vor Steuern um 72 Millionen Euro (Vorjahr: 80 Millionen Euro). Fielmann eröffnete bis Ende Juni 12 Niederlassungen (gesamt: 631).
