Reinforcement for Sales

New Sales Director at Ferromatik Milacron

(PresseBox) (Malterdingen, ) Thomas Schwarzer (45) will manage the sales department at injection molding machine manufacturer Ferromatik Milacron, effective immediately. The sales department will operate as central services provider for marketing the machines of the three stand-alone Business Units ELEKTRA, K-TEC and MAXIMA. Business Unit SERVTEK will continue to be responsible for customer service and Business Unit APPLICATIONS & SYSTEMS for application engineering including system solutions.

There are four sales teams, each working in specific countries, which will operate under the management of Thomas Schwarzer. "The geographical division has the advantage for our customers that it provides them with permanent, territory-oriented contact persons at our works, independent of the scope of the product portfolio", explains Thomas Schwarzer. A fifth sales team will provide general support and is responsible for the shipment of machines. To improve the scope of our services even more, the existing sales team is to be extended during this year.

Thomas Schwarzer has been with Ferromatik Milacron since 2001 – first as Sales Manager for Eastern Europe and Asia and later as General Manager of Business Unit MAXIMA. This Business Unit will be taken over by Robert Burzler who also manages Business Unit ELEKTRA. Previous to this, Thomas Schwarzer was Sales Manager for the German-speaking markets at Loma Systems in London for five years and active in various positions in sales and marketing for Testo in Lenzkirch for ten years.
