Präzision im Miniaturformat: Neue Diodenlaser-Module für die Raman-Analytik und Quantensensoren im Weltraum

Anlässlich der Fachmesse Laser Optics präsentiert das Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik (FBH) unter dem Funkturm ausgewählte Lasermodule. Diese stellt es vom 18. bis 20. März 2014 an Stand 405 in Halle 12 vor. Das FBH zeigt u.a. einen Diodenlaser für die Raman-Spektroskopie, der alternierend Licht auf zwei verschiedenen Wellenlängen emittiert. So kann das Raman-Signal auch bei starkem Stör­licht gemessen und damit die Nachweisgrenze gegenüber der herkömmlichen Raman-Spektroskopie verbessert werden. Außerdem präsentiert das Institut ein Diodenlaser-Mo­dul für den Betrieb von Quantensensoren, die etwa für Präzisionszeitmessungen benö­tigt werden.
