Novelty at the Achema 2012

On the occasion of its 40th company anniversary, FEIGE Filling presents innovative 3D-plant surveying and planning capacity as engineering service factory design

Bad Oldesloe, (PresseBox) - At a joint stand at the Achema 2012, FEIGE FILLING, HAVER & BOECKER and SOMMER Anlagenbau invite visitors to an inspection of their current products and novelties. Just in time for its 40th company anniversary, Feige Filling is setting the course for the continuous system design of the future and presents among others the innovative Feige Factory Design, a concept originating in the 3D-sector, which makes elaborate on-site measurements and tedious drawing work look like an old hat.

Since foundation of the company in 1972, FEIGE FILLING GMBH - formerly Feige GmbH, Abfülltechnik - has time and again demonstrated its expertise and innovative capacity as far as planning, manufacture and marketing of filling equipment is concerned. 40 years later, hardly a well-known producer in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry, in the food sector, in paint and lacquer manufacturing or in the petrochemical industry is doing without equipment built by the world-wide market and technology leader from Bad Oldesloe or one of its subsidiaries.

Today, FEIGE FILLING with more than 140 employees in Bad Oldesloe and additional subsidiaries in Asia, North and South America, Poland, France forms part of the HAVER & BOECKER Group, just like Sommer GmbH & Co. KG. Together the three enterprises present themselves at the Achema 2012 in hall 3.0, stand F38. Here, visitors to the fair can inspect the equipment on site and obtain information about trendsetting developments.

Something to put your fingers on: the current turnkey solution by FEIGE and SOMMER

In Frankfurt, FEIGE FILLING and Sommer exhibit their current product highlight by way of an example: a production and packaging line (turnkey) for storing, mixing and filling liquid and pasty substances, without interfaces and all from one source.

On this line, agitators, mixers and dissolvers by Sommer take over the entire raw material processing, while the Feige Filling equipment is responsible for the filling and packaging part. In addition, the enterprise from Schleswig-Holstein introduces the innovative "Plug & Fill" pallet filler model 37 at the Achema 2012. With its state-of-the-art, patented image recognition system, it is possible to automatically fill all types of container shapes from 20 litre cans to 1,000 litre containers.

Innovative 3D-system design with visualisations

As highlight, the market leader presents a trendsetting possibility of factory representation during the tender stage: an accurate, photo-realistic visualisation of the planned equipment. New CAD software by Autodesk, a long-standing partner of FEIGE FILLING, makes continuous working on the same database possible for the first time. This renders planning considerably easier and faster. The photo-realistic representation at a realistic location facilitates the presentation and the comprehension of technical data on the part of the purchaser. The customer receives the data on a stick in different file types, is guided through the equipment design and can use the data for internal discussions. Later change requests can be directly incorporated on a mobile terminal.

As an additional feature on the occasion of its fortieth anniversary, Feige Filling is inviting to a modern, scenographic 3D-production called "Filling Visions" and staging product novelties. For this purpose, a projection room, the "Cine-Visions" room, where interested visitors can obtain information has been set up at the stand.

HAVER & BOECKER with packaging novelty

Supplementary to this, HAVER & BOECKER Maschinenfabrik is introducing the FFS system ADAMS® 1 for packaging powdery products in PE-bags at the Achema 2012. This system guarantees optimum product protection, extends the shelf life, guarantees cleanliness along the entire logistic line and resilient containers. With its aid, powdery products are filled in an environmentally compatible manner into impervious bags that are suitable for outdoor exposure.

Improvements in dosing technology in addition facilitate the filling of powdery products with difficult flow characteristics. With that, HAVER & BOECKER has succeeded in converting the packaging of all products that so far were packed in valve bags to packaging into PE bags.
