In the meeting, Mr Thierry Eyrard (Fresenius Medical Care-SMAD General Manager) was appointed as the Chairman of MedPharmPlast Europe for the next two years. Mr Eyrard noted: "We started with the development of MedPharmPlast Europe three years ago and we are now working together in order to face the important challenges. We are speaking now with one voice as an industry. We will work in the coming months to analyse problems and propose solutions, setting up a realistic roadmap to solve them. For that we would like to count on as many companies from the plastics value chain as possible in order to be stronger, joining forces to benefit the plastics medical devices and packaging industry".

EuPC calls all the interested parties in the Medical Devices and Packaging industries to join MedPharmPlast Europe in order to create a strong group which can work together to defend the interests of the industry.
