The supervisory board of European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) has appointed Iris Weidinger a member of the management board with immediate effect. In this capacity, Iris Weidinger, who previously held the position of chief representative, will assume the function of the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with the divisions of finance, controlling and human resources for the group. With the appointment of this renowned finance and tax expert as a full member of the management board the EEX supervisory board supports the exchange in its increasing internationalisation and the continuous alignment towards a strategic holding company.
