EEX: Handelsvolumina in 2008 weiter gestiegen

Strom-Spotmarkt um fast 25 Prozent gesteigert

Die European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) setzt ihren positiven Handelstrend fort und schließt das Jahr 2008 mit einer erneuten Steigerung der Volumina sowohl am Spot- als auch am Terminmarkt. Das Handelsvolumen für Strom erhöhte sich auf 1.319 TWh, was einer Steigerung von 3,6 % gegenüber dem Vorjahr (1.273 TWh) entspricht.

Besonders gut entwickelte sich das Handelsvolumen am Strom-Spotmarkt, das 2008 um 24,8 % auf 154,4 TWh gegenüber 123,7 TWh im Vorjahr wuchs. Im Mittel lagen 2008 die Spotmarktpreise (Phelix Day Base) bei 65,76 Euro/MWh gegenüber 37,99 Euro/MWh in 2007.
