Catalina Stefanescu-Cuntze appointed newly founded Deutsche Post Chair at ESMT

Catalina Stefanescu-Cuntze, associate professor and dean of faculty at ESMT European School of Management and Technology in Berlin, has been named the Deutsche Post Chair at the international business school. Prof. Stefanescu-Cuntze joined ESMT in November 2009 and was the director of research from September 2010 until November 2012 when she was appointed dean of faculty. She joined ESMT from London Business School, where she was an assistant professor of decision sciences. She received her PhD and MS in operations research from Cornell University. Prof. Stefanescu-Cuntze researches in the area of operations and logistics and focuses on the design, analysis, and application of statistical models and methods for managerial decision making.
