EPTDA Press Conference, September 25th, in Brussels

Brüssel, (PresseBox) - With over 200 member companies, the European Power Transmission Distributors Association represents over € 18 billion sales volume in mechanical power transmission/motion control(PT/MC) products over Europe and beyond. Founded in 1998, EPTDA stands as a unique platform bringing together PT/MC distributors and manufacturers decision makers from Central and Eastern Europe, UK, the USA, Japan, South Africa and the Middle East.

This year, EPTDA is celebrating its 10th anniversary with great pomp - new identity (logo, website...), 1st-ever printed membership directory (Blue Book), charity initiative with Belgian King Baudouin Foundation and 15 new members as of date. The final fireworks - the Annual Convention - will run from 24 to 26 September in the exclusive Dolce resort hotel in La Hulpe (Brussels), Belgium. Nearly 300 top executives have already signed up for this unavoidable industry event.

Mr. Manfred Beitel, Head of EPTDA and Managing Director of WLB GmbH (Germany); Mr. Piotr Maksymowicz, EPTDA Convention Chair, EPTDA Manufacturer Chair and Industrial Distribution Director of SKF Service Division (Belgium); Mr. Heinz Landhäusser, EPTDA Founding President and CEO of SourceLine Europa Holding GmbH (Germany); and Mr. Hans Hanegreefs, EPTDA Executive Vice President, will report on EPTDA's new identity, 2008 activities and new developments, and market trends in the PT/MC industry and the challenges for the Association.
