EPAM Systems Ranked #2 on Forbes' List of America's 20 Fast-Growing Tech Stars
Forbes' annual list of America's Best Small Public Companies highlights the 100 best-performing public companies with sales below $1 billion ranked according to their stock performance; return on equity; sales growth; and earnings growth over the past year and over five years. Based on the ranking, Forbes sub-divided the listed companies into the fastest-growing "tech stars," where EPAM is the highest ranked Information Technology company, with $493 million in sales for the latest 12 months. Named to Forbes' list of America's 25 fastest-growing tech companies earlier this year, EPAM reassures its status as one of the most rapidly developing software engineering and IT consulting companies in America.
"The last five years have been a traumatic one for American businesses," says Forbes' Kurt Badenhausen in the story. "But the most nimble companies have thrived during this time, and they span all sectors of the economy from aerospace to auto parts to retail. The companies that met the challenge qualified for Forbes' 35th annual list of America's Best Small Companies."
"Since its founding in 1993, EPAM has always focused on engineering excellence. Initially our primary client base was within the commercial software space including such leaders as SAP, Microsoft, Hyperion and ATG. That historical dedication to excel in helping to develop enterprise software, and our ability to attract and retain elite technology talent, has been engrained in EPAM's DNA. Today, when non-traditional tech driven industries have to adapt quickly and rely heavily on cutting-edge technologies, EPAM becomes a natural choice," says Arkadiy Dobkin, CEO and President, EPAM Systems. "Behind all the finance indicators and performance results, EPAM's success story is ultimately made possible by our customers' trust and satisfaction, as well as by the exceptional, tireless dedication and pursuit of excellence of our staff."
