ENTSO-E opens registration for Demand Connection Code workshop on 9 August
As outlined in the draft agenda, the purpose of this workshop is to provide information about, and receive feedback on, the draft network code. To open up the discussion as much as possible, ENTSO-E welcomes participants to submit specific questions in advance of the workshop so that they can be handled in the panel session or round table discussions. Also, if participants wish to share their views/ experience relevant in the context of the DCC, proposals for short presentations are welcome. Stakeholders are requested to communicate questions and proposals for presentation in their registration for this workshop.
ENTSO-E notes that TSO members are also carrying out initiatives at national level during the web-based consultation period to communicate on the scope and process of the DCC by means of workshops or in national user groups. Stakeholders are advised to refer to their national TSOs for further questions on this.
Stakeholders have a two and a half month period to provide comments and feedback. This extended period takes into account the summer period. All comments on the draft Demand Connection Code must be submitted via the ENTSO-E web consultation interface. Comments not submitted via this channel will not be considered as formal comments in this consultation. Further information on the procedure to submit comments can be accessed here.
During this consultation period, as well as thereafter, ENTSO-E continues interactions with a dedicated DSO Technical Expert Group and a DCC User Group on the further improvement of the draft code.
The DCC is being developed by ENTSO-E in accordance with the processes established in line with Regulation (EC) 714/2009 and follows ACER's framework guidelines on electricity grid connections.
