ENTSO-E Now Accepting 3rd Party Project Submissions for TYNDP 2014

Brussels, (PresseBox) - ENTSO-E has updated the procedure for inclusion of 3rd party projects in the TYNDP 2014 and opened a second submission window from 23 September-20 October 2013.

All interested promoters of transmission and storage projects, and in particular PCI promoters, are invited to submit their projects to ENTSO-E within the notified timeframe. The submission should be made by email to tyndp(at)entsoe.eu and include the technical and legal documentation, as outlined in the updated procedure. Applicants are required to use the templates that have been made available for listing the technical information. The updated procedure and submission templates can be downloaded from the links at the end of this page.

This procedure follows extensive consultation with third party promoters, ACER, EC and other stakeholders within the ENTSO-E Long-Term Development Stakeholder Group. In a change from the initial 3rd party procedure (published in January 2013), the current version now incorporates the criteria for inclusion of relevant electricity storage projects in the TYNDP 2014.

Note: Promoters whose applications were accepted in the first submission window in early 2013 are not required to resubmit their projects. Promoters, whose application was not accepted by ENTSO-E in the first call, can complete their application and resubmit in this second call in order to be considered for inclusion in the TYNDP 2014.
