Die Geschichte der Firmengruppe Horstmann begann 1950 mit einem Rundfunk-Geschäft. Nach einer sehr guten Entwicklung der Geschäfte wurden Servicedienstleistungen in den 1970er Jahren in eine eigene GmbH ausgegliedert. Anfang der 1990er entwickelte sich der Mobilfunkfunkmarkt und die Brüder Horstmann wurden auch hier aktiv. 15 Jahre ist es her, da beschlossen sie für den Bereich der Distribution eine eigene Firma zu gründen. Seit 1993 gibt es die ENO telecom GmbH, die als Distributor den gesamten deutschen Markt mit Telekommunikationsprodukten versorgt. Nach einem Start mit einigen wenigen Mobiltelefonen und Motorola als erstem Partner wurde das Geschäftsfeld kontinuierlich ausgebaut.
