Das Mehrbereichs‐Kombifilter DIRIN 500 A2B2‐P3R D NBC entspricht den europäischen Normen DIN EN 14387:08, DIN EN 143:07 und ist mit einem Rundgewinde gemäß DIN EN 148‐1 ausgestattet. Es darf nur in Verbindung mit Vollmasken (DIN EN 136) mit Rundgewindeanschluss (DIN EN 148‐1) eingesetzt werden. Das Mehrbereichs‐Kombifilter DIRIN 500 A2B2‐P3R D NBC ist ein Derivat des militärischen NBC Filters, das in der NATO Anwendung findet. Form und Größe entsprechen z.B. dem M58 Filter, das unter anderem von der italienischen Armee bei möglicher ABC Kontaminierung eingesetzt wird. Die verwendete Aktivkohle ist ebenfalls identisch, geprüft und zugelassen.
