ecotel communication ag: Changes in Supervisory Board
After the appointment of Supervisory Board Chairman Johannes Borgmann to the Management Board, Dr. Norbert Bensel will take over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Mr. Borgmann's appointment to the Management Board will also result in changes to the company's Supervisory Board. Dr. Norbert Bensel (member of the ecotel Supervisory Board since 2010 and Chairman of the Nominating/Personnel Committee) was elected as the new Supervisory Board Chairman as of 1 May 2014.
It is planned to restore the Supervisory Board to the full six members at the regular share-holder's meeting on 25 July 2014. Within the framework of the general meeting the company will recommend the shareholder Dr. Barbara Bludau for election as the new member of the Supervisory Board. Dr. Bludau, a legal practitioner and scientific manager, was Secretary General of the Max Planck Society for many years. Since 2011 she has worked as an attor-ney (Of Counsel) with the commercial and tax law firm P+P Pöllath und Partners mbB in Mu-nich.

Listed in the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, ecotel communica-tion ag is a telecommunications company with activities in three business sectors throughout Germany.
In the core segment of »Business Solutions« ecotel provides about 18,000 business custom-ers with an IT/Telecom product portfolio consisting of voice, data and mobile communications solutions. This includes nationwide available and convergent bundled products, broadband data access on the basis of xDSL and Ethernet technologies, scalable networking of corpo-rate locations (VPNs) as well as housing and hosting services.
In the second segment, »Wholesale Solutions«, the ecotel group markets preliminary service products to other telecommunications companies. At the same time, the company achieves high traffic volumes in this segment, enhancing added value for the core segment of »Busi-ness Solutions«. In addition to the international wholesale voice activities of ecotel, mvneco GmbH is also included in this segment.
The »New Business« segment covers new, fast-growing business segments and niches of independently operating subsidiaries. In addition to easybell GmbH, which is aligned to pri-vate customer business, nacamar GmbH, which now focuses exclusively on new media activ-ities, is part of this independent business unit.
Founded in 1998, the corporate group, with its main office in Düsseldorf, currently has about 200 employees, including subsidiaries and holdings.
