eCosCentric announces eCosPro for Cortex-M3
(PresseBox) (BIRMINGHAM, UK, )"The Cortex-M3 processor line has been designed for the deeply embedded microcontroller and low-cost application segment where eCos' strengths of real-time performance in resource constrained systems with low deployment costs are of vital importance," said Daniel Morris, Sales & Marketing Director at eCosCentric. "We've seen demand building very quickly for eCos based Cortex-M3 solutions as designers choose from the growing range of innovative parts that ARM licensees have recently introduced."
eCosCentric will release eCosPro Developer's Kits in the coming weeks, initially available for the popular STMicroelectronics STM32 implementation, with full support for core peripherals, Thumb2 instruction set, on-chip flash and memory controllers. Integrated debug support is included with the Eclipse-based IDE for a choice of JTAG probes.
