Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products announces new products for Oil Well Logging

Valenica, California, USA, (PresseBox) - Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products (EZIP) has successfully launched a new range of high-integrity sealed radiation sources designed for the oil well logging community. These sources, which emit neutrons used to detect and measure oil reserves, are technically complex products used in exceptionally harsh environments. Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products' new designs have class-leading temperature and pressure ratings that exceed both the industry standards and the performance offered by existing conventional products.

Since launching these products early in 2008, Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products has won numerous supply contracts, whose total value exceeds $5M. Customers - typically specialist equipment manufacturers or well logging companies - are located throughout North America and Asia. Future demand is expected to be strong and interest in the new product range is growing rapidly.

"We are very excited about this extension of our product line that support the petroleum exploration industry", states EZIP President & CEO Frank Yeager. "This represents a significant financial investment in order to commission new state of the art facilities, and to provide sufficient manufacturing capacity to meet the industries needs. For many years the industry has suffered from inadequate global manufacturing capacity and Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products' new supply initiatives have been very well received by the oil industry."

Eckert & Ziegler's new line of oil well logging sources can be customized to meet a customer's specific needs and equipment constraints. EZIP sells its products through various distribution channels, including direct to end-users, via a network of international distributors in over 30 countries and in partnerships with original equipment manufacturers.
