Click-Off! EBV Elektronik Re-launches its Website with Brand-new Features

(PresseBox) ( Poing/Munich, )
EBV Elektronik, an Avnet (NYSE:AVT) company, is pleased to announce the re-launch of its complete web presence: www.EBV.com. The new site, now available in six languages, features the fast delivery of all the latest information about its entire range of products and services, as well as the company's new, intuitive 'Product Matrix', that enables visitors to find their preferred products in seconds.

Fulfilling its customers' needs is extremely important to EBV. Before starting the re-design, the company conducted various different customer surveys to find out exactly what they want from a state-of-the-art semiconductor distribution homepage. The new EBV website is based largely on these wishes and expectations, and will continue to evolve to reflect its customers' changing requirements.

"We hope that visitors to the site find the new www.EBV.com as useful and appealing as we do. Our goal was to produce the best website in EMEA semiconductor distribution, and we think that with the input from our customers, we have created something very special", says Slobodan Puljarevic, President & CEO of EBV Elektronik. "We have implemented a series of new features to help users find their preferred product, or any other EBV information they require, as quickly and easily as possible."

Highlights of the new site include:
- Intuitive 'Product Matrix' to find preferred products in seconds
- Large product database
- Sophisticated search function - also available as fold-out 'Advanced Search' from every page
- Content available in six languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian
- Presentation Stage with animations of product and image campaigns, events as well as messages from the management and more
- Animated world map for a convenient EBV office search
- EBV eBrochures that make it possible to read EBV product flyers and catalogues by 'turning pages' online

Further information about EBV's website re-launch project, can be found in a 'Fact Sheet', which is available in the Press & Print section on EBV's new online presence - www.ebv.com

EBV worked with two partners to achieve the innovative website they wanted: Plan.Net (Munich), came up with the concept and realised the re-design of the user interface, while BGM (Ottobrunn), implemented the content management system TYPO3.

Of course, the new www.EBV.com site is a dynamic tool, and new features and services will be added in the future to support our customers. So keep visiting the site and watching that space!
