Earlybird Venture Capital, one of Europe's most successful venture capital firms, has appointed Matias Collan as Partner.
Mr. Collan has been the company's Chief Operating Officer since 2010. He oversees Earlybird's corporate, fund related, legal and other operational matters. Furthermore, Mr. Collan is involved in selected investment and disinvestment processes, such as the recent merger of Purple Labs SA into publicly listed Esmertec AG (later Myriad Software Group) and the subsequent sale of Earlybird's Myriad investment to the same group.
